The Event
The best mood. Also for Tango
We're doing it... Again!

We've been involved in Tango since 2001.
We've known and worked together for 17 years.
We are close friends.

We are passionate about Tango, we love Porto, and we are happy organizing things together.
We have organized hundreds of milongas, workshops, classes, shows, and events.
We have been and continue to be invited to provide music for countless international and national events.
On December 21, 2023, Tango Mood was born.
In 2025, we finally held our biggest event - Porto Tango Mood.
It was a great pleasure to welcome so many friends and create an incredible Tango Mood.
Obviously, we decided to repeat the experience.
Perhaps it's simpler to say what Porto Tango Mood 2026 is not:
it's not a marathon, it's not an encounter, it's not a festival.
What is it then?
Role-Balance? Trust us...we know what we're doing!
Codigos Milongueros? We trust You...we know who we're inviting!
We invite you to join us and draw your own conclusions.
Tango Mood, the best mood. Also for Tango.

CCOP
Círculo Católico de Operários do Porto
The Círculo Católico de Operários do Porto (CCOP) was founded in 1898 and brought together workers in a collective aimed at social support and education.
For over more than a century, the association continued to provide cultural and recreational activities, hosting cultural events (especially in its auditorium), social activities and community services — continuing its long tradition of social engagement with community life.

CCOP auditoriom will be our Main Venue.
It features amazing cushioned (!) wooden floor, state of the art professional sound and lighting systems, air conditioning...and big windows!

You will Love it!
Address:
Rua do Duque de Loulé, 202

Café Ceuta
Café Ceuta opened its doors in July 1953 and became a popular meeting spot for politicians, artists, writers and intellectuals. Its basement also housed a games room with billiard tables, which added to its social atmosphere.
Nowadays, preserving its retro style while updating the space and its gastronomic offerings, it's considered part of Porto’s living cultural and historical heritage (it's part of the "Porto de Tradição" program since 2025), blending mid-20th-century atmosphere with contemporary cuisine and cultural events.
It will be a truly special venue for our Welcome Milonga and Group Dinner!
Address:
Rua de Ceuta, 20

The Passenger
Hostel
The event will end on a high note.

The Clock Tower Room at São Bento Train Station is a place with a very peculiar aura, where we feel transported to another dimension.
The Angel, who is a Woman, watches us fearlessly, with an intriguing presence.
It will be the end of this trip but also the beginning of the next one, in which we hope to meet you again and walk the Tango with the best "mood" of all.

Travel
Porto is Amazing!

We know you come to dance and meet old and new friends.
But what to do in the hours between milongas?
Trust us... it's worth sacrificing sleep!
Porto - the Invicta city - is the only city to have won the Best European Destination Award three times, among many other tourism awards.
The historic center is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the entire city has countless points of interest.
But especially, an incomparable atmosphere!

We prepared this map to help you discover it. So...enjoy the Porto Mood!
...and then dance!
Getting to Porto
Porto is very well connected to all of Europe, including through low-cost airlines (Ryanair, Easyjet, Transavia, Vueling and many others)
So, you'll most likely be arriving by plane.
The connection between Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport and the city center is easy, using the Metro line E. You must buy an "Andante" card and load it with a "Z4" ticket (€2.25+€0.50) at the available machines.
Afterwards, you can use the same card for other trips around the city, by topping it up.
There are also Taxis, UBER and BOLT available at the airport.
If you arrive by train or bus, you'll most likely arrive at Porto-Campanhã Station (TIC-Terminal Intermodal Campanhã).
At this station, you have the Metro, taxis and online platforms available for connection to the center.
The closest Metro stations to the Event locations are "Bolhão" and "Trindade"
Public Transport
Porto is served by a public transport network (Metro, Buses and Trains).
The same "Andante" card can be used in any of them, just pay attention to the zones and corresponding tickets to be loaded.
Please note: it is only possible to change the ticket type after the loaded tickets have been used.
Taxi and Online Plataforms
Taxis are usually at specific points and are not hailed on the move.
The UBER and BOLT platforms are also available.
In general, the center of Porto is very easy to visit on foot. You may only need transport to some area a little further away from the center.
But be careful with the walking distances on Google Maps...the city has a lot of hills!
